We, your hosts Dave and Renata are always more than happy to lend a hand in planning your activities. With a wealth of local knowledge we love to make recommendations to make your stay in Cambridge be a memorable one. We offer true Kiwi hospitality and want to share the beauty of our home and our region with you.

Cambridge and the Waikato region has so much to offer, and we hope that you fall in love with the breathtaking landscape and lifestyle like we have.

About Us

Dave is a Kiwi, born in Dunedin and extremely well travelled. He understands the excitement and value of travelling and loves to share his local and international experience with visitors.

Renata was born in Switzerland but fell in love with all that New Zealand has to offer. She has lived here for over 35 years and has gained a wealth of Kiwi knowledge that she is always happy to share. Renata is fluent in speaking English, French and German.

Also joining us in our house is Caesar, our beautiful Ragdoll Burmese cross cat and Harlie our lovely friendly Whippet . Both have a friendly natures. Caesar is mostly independent and keeps to himself and Harlie is lovable and friendly.

Local Information

Cambridge offers a variety of sporting and leisure activities to suit people of all ages and fitness levels. Activities include picturesque rowing at Lake Karapiro, The Avantidrome, a brand new, world class facility is centered around the purpose built 250m wooden cycling velodrome. Visit the Bikery Cafe for something yummy to eat. Plenty of equestrian trails and activities, recreational cycle ways, walking and hiking tracks plus many more.

Cambridge is a short distance from Hobbiton, Mystery Creek events centre, Hamilton airport and city and Waitomo Caves. Tauranga, Mt. Maunganui, Rotorua and Taupo are all approximately an hour's drive away.
